HOW DOES IT WORK
(Home and small business)
- We supply a "Router"
. It comes fully configured for your account. You
plug it into your Broadband connection.
You plug your phone into it, and dial. That's it!

- You can have a separate local phone number
with it. Just choose from the following countries:
UK, Canada, USA, Australia, Argentina, Japan, Chile,
Italy, France and Spain. e.g. if you have a UK line
and number, anyone calling you from the UK will be
paying local or national rates, when you may be in
the USA !!

- To move abroad, just unplug
the router and take it with you
and plug it into your Broadband connection.
(some countries may require adaptors)

- For larger businesses we will supply
a router which will connect to the PBX or exchange
and will handle multiple calls.

HOW DO I PAY ?
- Payment for calls made is through a Prepaid
Account, using your debit or credit card.
You can top-up your account via the Internet.
- Setup costs are also prepaid and
include the cost of the router and 12 months line
rental. please ask for details of our soon to be published

TECHNICAL
POINTS
- Easy-VOIP is SIP (Session
Initiated Protocol) driven, and there will
be a requirement for the user to have broadband.
- It is not designed
to work with dial-up internet access. Easy-VOIP
is designed to work only with a Broadband / ADSL connection
(any speed).
- It will provide one
or two additional low-cost phone numbers
which are portable.
- The user can be anywhere
in the world providing they have access to
a suitable broadband supply.
- Standard configuration:
The standard package will include a Cisco ATA186 router,
and this will normally be configured for DCHP (variable
IP address).
- Non Standard configuration:
Fixed/static IP addresses will require us to reconfigure
the router, which may add a slight delay to providing
the service.
- Connectors / Jacks:
Any phone can connect to the Cisco router, but an
RJ11 jack is required at the router (the standard
BT jack in the UK, for example, will not work and
a cable adaptor is needed)
- DDIs (separate phone
numbers) from one of a number of countries
including the UK (0207) and the US (various states)
can be provided from £100 per annum rental per
number.
