Rate reductions to over 300 destinations

We have recently completed a review of all our International calling rates for Calling Accounts, European and USA Roaming, Call-back services, and International Call Diverts, resulting in over 300 rate reductions to Landlines and Mobiles overseas.  As an easy-dial customer with any one of these types of accounts, you will already be benefiting from these reduced rates since 20th June 2006, and you do not need to do anything except continue to use your account normally and recommend us to your friends family and colleagues (for which you could receive £10 call credit).  Our call rates now start at 1.5p per minute (using our access numbers 020 8150 0031 or 020 0001 2866 and 0845 193 1000 from either your landline or your Mobile).  I shall give you further tips on how to achieve these rates and save money, later in this newsletter, so please read on.

Survey of Rates against Talk Talk, One Tel and Alpha Telecom

We compared our rates for the top 250 worldwide destinations, and yes, you guessed it, we are cheaper than these three giants, in the majority of cases.  For Example, in Africa, we are cheaper 63 out of 63 times against Talk Talk and 56 out of 63 times, compared with Alpha.  And, we do not charge you £9.99 per month like Talk Talk, or £1 per month like One Tel, just to access their "lower rates", which are in most cases higher than ours !!  We also offer free online access to your account where you can check your call costs instantly, without waiting for a month (or even three months) for your bill, by which time you have forgotten how long the call lasted and cannot check it sensibly. Please note that the competitor information above was obtained in a Survey of their respective websites conducted on 27 June 2006.  Our own rates shown are those assuming that our 020 access number is used as described below.  Whilst we have done our best to extract accurate information from these websites, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of every price, i.e. E & OE.  All trade marks are of course acknowledged.  In the above examples, we are cheapest in 10 out of the 16 African destinations and 10 out of the 16 Asian destinations. Cheaper Calls - Use your FREE or inclusive call minutes

Many of our customers already have inclusive free calls to UK Landlines either from their UK Landline / service provider or from their Mobile phone network.  We are constantly being asked "I am no longer with BT but NTL, can I still benefit from your service?" or "I am with Talk Talk, can I still benefit from your service?" .  The answer is YES YOU CAN ! With easy-dial, this means even cheaper calls to ALL International destinations.  You can of course use our 0800 access number from any landline anytime. But, by using our 020 8150 0031 or 020 0001 2866 access numbers, you save an additional 2p per minute off our 0800 rates.  This therefore gives you access to the USA and most Western European Landlines, for just 1.5p per minute from both your Mobile and your Landline !

Here is how it works:  Say you get free minutes to UK Landlines from your home phone provider.  You dial the easy-dial access number, 020 8150 0031 or 020 0001 2866, and this call is free.  You then dial the destination number when prompted, as normal, thus only paying 1.5p per minute to the USA and most Western European Landlines.

In addition, you can use the same method above with your Mobile, by utilising the free minutes you get on your Mobile contract, which makes the cost of calling overseas whilst on the move amazingly cheap with easy-dial.  You dial one of the 020 access numbers above, and this part of the call is free to you because it qualifies as a normal free call, and then you dial the destination number at our very very low rates. Amazing isn't it?
